Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how K&A Games ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with our website at ka-games.org (the "Site"), our games, and our Android applications, including Odin Tools, KAJoyKit, and KAGameVault (together, the "Apps").

We build small, self-contained games and utilities. That philosophy also drives our privacy approach: we collect as little as possible, keep your data on your own device wherever we can, and never sell personal information. This policy is written to be straightforward so you can understand exactly what happens — and what does not.

2. Who is responsible

K&A Games is the party responsible for processing the information described in this policy. If you have any questions about how your information is handled, you can reach us at privacy@ka-games.org at any time.

3. Information processed through the Site

The Site is a static website served by Cloudflare Pages. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for or collect personal information through the Site itself. There are no forms to fill in and no profiles to build.

When you visit the Site, standard server-log information is processed by Cloudflare on our behalf to keep the Site secure and reliable. This typically includes your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. Cloudflare processes this information under its own data-processing terms and privacy policy, and retains it according to Cloudflare’s own schedules.

We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Site, and we do not set tracking cookies. Any cookies that are present are strictly necessary for the Site to function and for security purposes.

4. Information processed by our Apps

Our Apps are designed to run locally on your device. The configuration, controller mappings, GPU settings, backups, and other data you create with them are stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. We do not operate accounts for the Apps and we do not maintain server-side copies of your data.

Some Apps request device permissions in order to provide their core functionality — for example, Odin Tools uses system-level access on rooted handhelds to remap inputs, tune the GPU, and read battery and diagnostic information. These permissions are used on-device for the feature you invoked and are not used to gather information about you for any other purpose.

Because your data stays on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting an App or clearing its data removes the information that App stored locally.

5. Advertising in our Apps

Some of our free Apps display advertising through Google AdMob. When an App shows ads, Google may process information such as your advertising identifier, device information, and approximate location in order to serve and, where you have allowed it, personalize advertising. This processing is governed by Google’s own privacy policy rather than this one.

You can control ad personalization in your device settings (for example, by opting out of ad personalization or resetting your advertising identifier). Doing so does not remove ads, but the ads you see will be less tailored to you.

6. Information we never collect

To be explicit about what we do not do: we do not sell personal information; we do not build advertising profiles about you; we do not require your name, email address, or any other personal details to use our games or tools; and we do not read, transmit, or back up your personal files to our servers.

7. How information is used

The limited information that is processed in connection with the Site is used only to operate, secure, and improve the Site. Information processed by the Apps is used only to provide the feature you are using on your device. We do not combine information across services to profile you, and we do not use it for direct marketing.

8. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to deliver our services: Cloudflare hosts and protects the Site, and Google provides the Play Store distribution and, in some Apps, advertising through AdMob. Each of these providers processes information under its own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies where you want the full detail of their processing.

9. Data retention

We do not store personal information on our own servers. Information processed by Cloudflare in connection with the Site is retained according to Cloudflare’s retention schedules. Information stored by our Apps remains on your device for as long as you keep the App and its data, and is removed when you delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the services we operate, including serving the Site over HTTPS and relying on Cloudflare’s security infrastructure. Because the Apps keep your data locally, the security of that data also depends on the security of your own device — we recommend keeping your device updated and protected.

11. International transfers

The Site is delivered through Cloudflare’s global network, which means server-log information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where information is transferred internationally, it is handled under the safeguards provided by the relevant processor (for example, Cloudflare’s standard contractual arrangements).

12. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@ka-games.org and we will promptly delete it.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. Because we do not hold personal information about you on our servers, there is generally no record for us to access or delete; most of the data associated with our Apps lives on your own device and can be removed directly. If you would like to exercise any right, contact us at privacy@ka-games.org and we will respond in line with applicable law.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or to the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted here so you can review them. Continuing to use our services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

15. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your information is handled, please contact us at privacy@ka-games.org.
